Live Earth in Second Life – by Shamp Writer

Was I the only one on the couch on 7/7/07 watching “Live Earth?” 24 hours, 7 continents, 9 concerts. Why miss it? But being the active guy that I am, I didn’t just stay on the couch – I waddled over the computer to experience it in Second Life as well. On the Better World Island you could watch the stream of the shows. OK, so what? You could also hear brief presentations on climate change complete with PowerPoints (yeah, they have infected virtual worlds as well), ask questions, and dance.
