Crowdsourcing the Future -- Technology for the Turnaround -- 4/25

Over 150 people have RSVPed for some part of "Technology for the Turnaround: A Crisis is a Terrible Thing to Waste" at UGA on Saturday, 4/25 (http://www.mynmi.net/Tech4Turn). Have you? We have a crazy day planned. We are going to drill down to determine which technologies are going to be important in the post-downturn media world. We are going to talk about gaming, social media, video, advertising, mobile, and music. We have tons of smart people to give us their ideas. Jennifer Dorian, Sr. VP for Network Strategy and Brand Development will tell us where to find radical innovation. And I promise it will be unlike any event you have attended. How? No pontificating -- only opinions. Nobody can only talk for over 2 minutes -- call it snackable prophesy. Everyone will get to invest in possible visions of the future. Students will be demonstrating at least 15 new media projects so you can experience the future of new media -- you don't want to miss the "Wouldn't it be cool if ..." segment. And you will have a chance to network. All of it is FREE. You can RSVP at http://www.mynmi.net/Tech4Turn. Plus if you need any other inducement to spend time in the most beautiful town in American on a lovely spring evening, the Athens Twilight http://www.athenstwilight.com/) is that night! Come!
