NMI Classes and Certificate

It is about time to start signing up for New Media Institute classes for Spring Semester. Here are some things that you need to know about NMIX courses and the New Media Interdisciplinary Certificate.

First, you can learn what classes are being offered spring semester (http://www.mynmi.net/courses/spring2010.php) and the Certificate (http://www.mynmi.net/programs/certificate/) online.

Second, only students who have completed or are currently enrolled in NMIX2020 Intro to New Media are eligible to take NMIX4110 New Media Production.

Third, to enroll in NMIX4110, you must attend one of two New Media Institute Orientation sessions being held on Tuesday, 10/6, and Wednesday, 10/7, at 6:30P in the NMI. You can register for one of these sessions at

Fourth, we have limited space in the New Media Interdisciplinary Certificate program. To manage demand, students will need to apply for acceptance into the Certificate program. The application procedure will be explained fully at the Orientation sessions – so to get into the Certificate, you must attend one of the orientation sessions.
