WAGZone back up -- thanks to NEGIA & ACC

The Wireless Athens Georgia Zone (aka WAGZone) is now up and running better than ever! We had to take the WAGZone down while Athens Clarke County painted the light poles. Now the poles are gleaming black – beautiful! And to make the WAGZone even faster, Northeast Georgia Internet Access (NEGIA – http://www.negia.net) is providing a new and improved connection to the internet (for those of you who like the tech-talk this is a regroomed T-1, impressive, eh?) NEGIA’s new owner, Faisal Imtiaz is continuing its commitment to connectivity in Athens. NEGIA has been the connectivity sponsor of the WAGZone since its inception almost four years ago. Thanks NEGIA!
And for those of you who don’t know, the WAGZone is the free wireless cloud covering all of downtown Athens.
